One of the most fun aspects of playing game series like Assasin’s Creed and Prince of Persia is the cool platforming mechanic. Packed throughout the games are constant opportunities to showcase slick and cool parkour moves, whether you want to quickly escape ground level upto the building rooftops above or simply have fun getting from A to B. While any player can do this in the games, I doubt many could go further than climbing a wall in real life.
Cue Jyoti Raju, an indian man who found his true calling entertaining tourists by free-climbing the tall stone structures and walls at the historically famous Chitradurga Fort, Karnataka. Videos of his ‘Assassin’s Creed’ like skills went viral back in 2009 and continue to stun people today. Check out the ‘over-the-top’, fun action-sports edit of Jyoti Raju below:
Jyoti’s story wasn’t always happy but after finding Parkour, things turned around for him and he is now known as the ‘Monkey King’. Find out a bit more about Jyoti’s life in this mini doc from Caters TV:
