Sometime in 2013, Animagraffs founder, Jake, had a break in steady ‘bill-paying’ freelance work. Instead of hitting up old haunts for predictable results, he risked a month without income to teach himself 3D modelling, and to create the Car Engine animated GIF series (research, writing, and design from start to finish).
It went mega-viral, landing front and centre in most established news sources and every blog, forum, and pin board in-between. It holds a top spot in search engines to this day.
Three years later, in 2016, Jake teamed up with his brother Wesley
to put their ideas together, and Animagraffs became a company instead of a one-man show.
