Limbo skating sensation Tiluck Keisam has just broken his own record for the ‘Farthest distance limbo skating under bars’. The eight-year-old schoolboy from Manipur, northeast India, won the title after limbo skating under 146 bars for a record of 145 metres in just a single run of 56.01 seconds.
It’s his second world record, after setting his first one in the same sport in December 2015 with a distance of 116 m (380 ft 5 in).
The video shows Keisam skating up to the bars before effortlessly lowering himself into a splits position and gliding underneath them. In order to make a successful run, he had to keep his hands and lower arms off the floors at all times:
Keisam started practising roller limbo back in 2013. He already had several local skating competition titles to his name before entering the Guinness World Record books.
Bizarrely enough, the sport is proving pretty popular amongst youngsters in India. In August 2016 six-year-old Om Swaroop Gowda, set a new world record for the Farthest distance limbo-skating under cars at an impressive 65.283 metres.
