It’s videos like this, that inspired the creation of ADAPT network. Simple, rad, off-the-track adventure with friends – life in it’s purest form. This awesome pedal video is the the first production from Cicli Corsa – a cycling webshop based out of Italy.
The short film showcases a bike ride of “Cani Sciolti Valtellina” on De Rosa top range steeds. A group of road cyclists, decked in the black and grey road kit, start from Cuneo (Italy) ascending to the top of the Col de Tende, on the border of France and Italy. The first 1:50 or so is standard-issue road cycling, which is nothing new but the variety of shots and pumping backing track lift the adrenaline levels in expectation. Watching beyond this point, you are rewarded with some pretty rad off-the-beaten-track cycling followed by full single-track mountain bike trails on road bikes. At the top of the Col de Tende, a string of 48 dirt road switchbacks leads back to the Italian Riviera, passing through France and the Roja valley – sounds like fun.
The video finishes with a rising drone shot of the decent in colour-drained vintage goodness…the Alps rock!
