Road Bike Party 3 landed back in December 2014! But I was so busy replaying RBP 1 and 2 that I forgot to post it on ADAPT. It was worth the wait though; this edit is packed with boundary-pushing insanity on a road bike. Presented by Martyn Ashton and starring Sam Pilgrim, Road Bike Party hits the southern Californian dirt.
The third instalment in the famous RBP series from Martyn Ashton sees the team head to the USA with mountain biker Sam Pilgrim taking the reins. It’s truly mind-blowing watching Sam push a carbon Ridley Noah as hard as possible on the dirt. Kitted out with Vision Metron 81 wheels, Full Speed Ahead K Force brakes, cranks, bar and stem, Prologo saddle and bar tape along with Shimano shifting, this is probably the techiest (yep I just invented that word) bike ever to get off-road in San Diego!
The video description reads ‘We’re pretty sure we answered the question of “Can a road bike kill it in the dirt?” with a resounding yes!’
No bikes were harmed in the making of this film. A couple of inner tubes were though.
