Mike Bachman captures these rad photographs at Thompson Pass, Alaska on a 24 hour adventure with Valdez heli ski guides

Mike and his team use the Eurocopter A-Star B2 helicopters for all operations. This powerful helicopter has an excellent safety record and is the best aircraft available for mountain flying. In fact, an A-Star recently set the high altitude landing record when it touched down on Mount Everest.

One of the first things you’ll notice about flying in the Eurocopter A-Star B2 is that there isn’t a bad seat in the house. The cockpit is configured so everyone has a great view. So sit back and enjoy some of the world’s most spectacular scenery and get a bird’s-eye view of your next run.
